Gyuri
Inventor, designer, maker
Born and raised in Cornwall, and having had the run of a well equipped workshop, Gyuri's early life was one of creative experimentation where making things yourself was much preferable to just buying them. His early career started in research and development and then later progressed into engineering, project management and then consultancy for various manufacturing and engineering companies, leading him to settle in the West Midlands. Having cultivated his own creative talents, tempered with technical training and over 20 years of developing his skills, in 2013 he co-founded Noofangled as a means of sharing his passion for creative design and engineering.
Ella
Organiser, tweeter, fixer
Originally from the West Midlands, Ella's passion for the natural world and for sustainable manufacturing was what prompted her to co-found Noofangled. Having worked in a range of UK based manufacturing and technology companies Ella uses her experience and commitment to quality to offer an environmentally responsible alternative to the disposable goods culture. Make something truly right-first-time, and then cherish the outcome.
Chris
Maker, solver, finisher
A native of the West Midlands, but having worked all over the country Chris is happiest when working with wood. Amongst Chris' talents, there lies an ability to see through the trees and point out all that wood. "Practical" is actually his first name (although Chris prefers to stay a little more modest about that). Trained as a joiner and practicing his craft on high end commissions for over a decade, Chris' love of wood, and his eye for detail shows in the quality of the finish he routinely achieves.
Suki
Assessor, tester, motivator
Inspired to join Noofangled shortly after its foundation, Suki provides invaluable support, inspiration and tea to the rest of the team, as well as rigorously assessing and testing features and designs.
